In Memorium of Leslie Jordan
With shock and sadness, we say goodbye to a beloved friend and supporter, Leslie Jordan. Today’s world lost an incredible light full of love, laughter, and joy.
Leslie Jordan had been directly involved with the HIV/AIDS epidemic since the early 1980s when he lived in Hollywood, CA. During those early days, he cared for both friends and strangers as they died from the disease and he delivered meals to AIDS patients, staying to talk with each patient, so they didn’t feel so alone. Over the last ten years, Leslie would come to Atlanta to visit our staff and provide support for various fundraising events that would benefit AID Atlanta. He was more than happy to meet fans and take pictures, especially if it was for a good cause. Our community mourns his loss, and we extend our sincerest sympathy to Leslie’s family, friends, and fans.
