Since opening the first PrEP clinic in Atlanta in 2015, AID Atlanta has led the charge in HIV prevention. PrEP—a daily pill that helps people stay HIV-negative—is our most powerful tool in this fight. When taken consistently, it provides remarkable protection against infection.

Our program is growing rapidly to meet the community's needs. We grew from 2,196 participants to more than 2,800 by the end of 2025—a 28% increase in just one year.

To stay healthy and continue their medication, every participant requires lab tests every three months. For our uninsured neighbors, these essential tests cost $75 each, or $300 per year.
