We’ve Moved! Come and Visit!
Last August, AID Atlanta left its home of sixteen years to move into the AHF Peachtree building at 1438 West Peachtree Street. Some remember that this is the building AID Atlanta was in from 1992 to 2007, but this space has been newly renovated into a state-of-the-art member/patient-focused facility and enables us to have the room for increased capacity.
“AID Atlanta’s move into our new home is a gargantuan step forward to stopping new HIV infections and providing world-class care to our friends and family living with HIV disease," exclaimed Nicole Roebuck, executive director. AID Atlanta, as a part of the AHF Federation, is providing one-stop service for our community.”

At AID Atlanta, we understand the financial strains many families face, especially when affected by HIV and when it comes to providing for their children. On average, we provide for 300 children and spend approximately $100 per child per year to ensure they have essential school supplies, backpacks, and toys for the holidays.
For families with modest incomes, these necessities can pose a significant challenge. Our mission through Sisters with A Voice is to alleviate this burden by providing crucial support to these families, allowing them to focus on providing a nurturing environment for their children's growth and development.
Your contributions enable us to make a real difference in the lives of these children and families.

Staff Spotlight
We're proud to spotlight one of our dedicated team members, Daina Toogood. She came to AID Atlanta in September 2021 upon completing her MSW degree from Clark Atlanta University and is a Housing Case Manager on our housing team.
In her role, Daina manages a caseload of clients under the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance program while also facilitating emergency assistance applications. “What I like most about my role here at AID Atlanta is that I am working every day to help fight the housing crisis in the City of Atlanta. I also give my members hope and help them set obtainable goals that show that they are bigger than their status.”
“I'm honored to be featured “In the Spotlight” because I feel like one of the tree's smaller branches here, but in the same breath, I'm appreciative because it just shows that no one goes unnoticed no matter how big or small their role is.”
Daina exemplifies the spirit of dedication and service that defines AID Atlanta, and we're truly grateful for her invaluable contributions.
